Ground Transportation
There are a number of reasons an individual may prefer or need ground transportation versus air travel, particularly within North America. Domestically, there are few airlines that accept pets as cargo, and many of those that do, have strict temperature restrictions, which makes air travel difficult in warmer months for any breed.
Dogs that are snub-nosed (brachycephalic breeds) are often at a higher risk during air travel than other breeds, and most are not accepted for carriage on commercial airlines. If you plan to relocate with a snub-nosed dog (such as a Pug, English, French Bulldog, Boston Terrier), dangerous breeds (Chow Chow, American Pit bull Terrier, Mastiff (All breeds) ground transportation may be your only option).
We offer two cross-country trips per month, and offer shared rides on these journeys, making the cost more affordable. Private ground transportation is also available. Local ground transportation is available in most cities and can be provided to/from the airport, for veterinary appointments, or boarding.
At Animal Logistics, we pride ourselves on the experience and dedication of our ground transportation team! We also have long term partnerships with IPATA members worldwide who share the same dedication should your pet need ground transportation in a foreign country.
