• Pets must be able to sit and stand, turn around comfortably, and have at least 3 inches above the top of the head when standing in a natural position and must also be able to lie in a natural position without curling in the front legs.

• Crates must be of a durable material, non-collapsible, and have a solid top & bottom. Top or side openings, wheels, and slide locking side fasteners are NOT accepted.

• Airlines require that the top and bottom of the crate be secured with all metal nuts and bolts ; plastic nuts are not accepted.

• Whenever possible, crates should have handles for carrying.

• Many airlines require IATA CR-82 crates for strong jawed breeds (or their mixes).

• Crates for gnawing animals and birds must be modified to ensure the animal does not bite or escape the crate.

• Crates must have two water containers and absorbent material

If your pet fits properly in length but you need additional head room, we can provide an extender for the XL and giant crates, or we can construct a custom wooden box to meet your dog's specific measurements.

A = length of animal from tip of nose to base/root of tail.
B = height from ground to elbow joint.
C = width across shoulders or widest point (whichever is the greater).
D = height of animal in natural standing position from top of the head or the ear tip to the floor (whichever is higher)
